Sunday marked the first time both Michigan and Ohio State would face each other as top five teams in the AP Top 25 poll, so how would the matchup turn out?

Way better than advertised.

The Wolverines defeated the Buckeyes, 92-87, in a back-and-forth game that was played extremely well on both sides. It seemed like a basket was scored on every possession, and if either team went cold for a couple of straight possessions, the momentum switched immediately.

Michigan is now sitting at 16-1 (11-1) overall, and it has shown zero signs of stopping anytime soon. The Wolverines just took care of their biggest challenge to date — on the road, in Columbus against the No. 4-ranked team in the country — and they seem to keep developing new ways of winning.

The maize and blue were extremely hot from 3 in the first half, but cooled off in the second, so what do you do? Give the ball to your beast down low:  Hunter Dickinson. Coach Juwan Howard has done a fantastic job this year with adjustments, and it shows once again, on Sunday, why he’s in the running for the national coach of the year.

We’re now going to talk about the good, the bad, and the MVP from the thrilling victory.
