When it comes to college football recruiting, it’s difficult to find a school that rests in a more opportune location than The University of Georgia.
Located in one of the nation’s largest hotbeds for high school football talent, UGA has easy, yearly access to a majority of America’s top talent. Since 2000, Mark Richt and Kirby Smart have not had to look far when building their highly ranked recruiting classes, however, they have been able to poach prep stars from a few unexpected regions in the US.
Here we look at Georgia’s top recruits from each state since the turn of the millennium. This list is comprised of players from both the efforts of Richt and Smart, and if you’re a longtime UGA follower, it should pose as a nice trip down memory lane.
All of these numbers come from 247Sports composite rankings that go back to the year 2000.
