Texas offers four-star defensive tackle from New York

Texas recently extended an offer to four-star defensive tackle Kaleb Artis in the 2022 recruiting class.

Texas’ coaching staff was finalized just moments ago, but that hasn’t stopped them from pushing hard on the recruiting trail for the past few weeks.

Head coach Steve Sarkisian is currently focusing on wrapping up the 2021 recruiting cycle with eight additional players. However, they’ve already begun extending offers to highly-touted prospects out of the 2022 recruiting class.

Texas recently extended an offer to defensive tackle Kaleb Artis. The New York native is a four-star prospect according to Rivals and is considered the No. 2 overall player in the state.

His 6-foot-5, 270-pound frame has garnered attention from well respected programs such as Notre Dame, Nebraska, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee.
