After an impressive 2019 season, Wisconsin senior quarterback Jack Coan was in line to lead the Badgers yet again this year. Those plans took a hit in October when he broke his foot at practice and was ruled out indefinitely.
As Badger fans know, redshirt freshman Graham Mertz took over under center and is set to lead the team for the years to come.
News broke today Coan has entered the transfer portal with the hope of finding somewhere to play his senior year.

It wasn’t the end of the Jack Coan story that many hoped to see, and this news is understandable given the current quarterback situation at the school.
Whoever gets the quarterback is getting a really good player, a great person and an even better leader. It will be fun to watch where he ends up and what his future holds at the position.
