Michigan State Football head coach Mel Tucker had a very interesting and news-filled press conference on Tuesday for his pre-Maryland game address to the media. There was plenty to talk about following the call, but one thing that might slip under the radar was Tucker noting that cornerback Chris Jackson is no longer with the team. Tucker said that he would be addressing Jackson’s future with the Spartans after the season is over.
Without much to go on, this is definitely a surprise. Jackson, a redshirt sophomore, was a talented 3-star recruit out of Georgia who had some interest from other schools like West Virginia, Michigan, North Carolina, and Wake Forest.
It will certainly be interesting to learn more about this situation after the season.
Chris Jackson no longer with MSU football team. Doesn’t anticipate him being back this season and plans to address his future in the offseason
