Life in the NFL is week to week. Last Sunday, the Seahawks were humiliated at home by the New York Giants which resulted in a list of all duds and no studs. Now it’s a list of only studs as the Seattle Seahawks obliterated the New York Jets 40-3.
The Jets marched down the field and scored an opening drive field goal then proceeded to allow the Seahawks to score 40 unanswered points as they fell to 0-13.
The Seahawks did what they were supposed to do by stomping an overmatched and inferior opponent. Seattle earned its largest margin of victory since Super Bowl XLVIII to conclude the 2013 season.
It feels weird to say Sunday was a must-win, but since Seattle has a very challenging remaining slate of games to close out the regular season, the Seahawks had to get back on track. They did so in dominant fashion, and have several studs to show for it.
