The Georgia Bulldogs crushed the Missouri Tigers 49-14 behind a dominant 21-0 third quarter performance. Georgia quarterback JT Daniels moved to 3-0 on the season with another good showing.
Zamir White and George Pickens played excellent and both gained over 100 total yards. Georgia amassed over 600 yards in the contest.
Georgia’s defense got off to a slower start, but forced several three-and-outs in the second half. The defense was put in a tough position following a blocked punt.
Georgia’s special teams was the most disappointing group on the team for the day. Jack Podlesny missed a field goal attempt when the game was out of reach. Overall, the special teams played fine and shouldn’t be too much of a concern for the future. Georgia’s superior talent erased any mistakes the special team made.
Numerous depth players made their debuts for Georgia including freshman quarterback Carson Beck. Georgia’s back-up offensive line and running back Daijun Edwards looked impressive in mop up duty.
