The Tennessee Titans announced a pair of roster moves on Tuesday, including placing Adam Humphries on Injured Reserve.
According to John Glennon of Broadway Sports, Humphries’ trip to IR is related to a concussion he suffered in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, which forced him to miss four games.
Humphries passed the concussion protocol ahead of Week 13 and suited up against the Cleveland Browns. He reeled in one of four targets for nine yards but had a costly drop that resulted in an interception.
With this trip to IR, Humphries will miss at least the next three games but can return for the regular-season finale versus the Houston Texans.
Since joining the Titans in 2019, Humphries has had issues staying on the field. He missed six games (including playoffs) in his first season in Nashville and will now miss at least eight in 2020.
Tennessee’s wideout also missed one game when he was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list in October.
In addition to the move to place Humphries on IR, the Titans added practice squad punter Trevor Daniel to the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
