UPDATE: Ohio State’s game against Illinois has been canceled because of a COVID-19 outbreak within the OSU football program.

Ohio State survived its first real test of the season this past Saturday holding off Indiana’s furious second-half comeback attempt. Even though the Hoosiers were ranked No. 9 at the time, the playoff committee wasn’t impressed with the Buckeyes moving a one-loss Clemson ahead of OSU in the first CFP rankings. Clearly, there is no room for error.

The road should get a little easier this week as the Buckeyes travel to Champaign to take on Illinois… assuming the game takes place. It was reported earlier in the week that Ohio State has had several positive COVID cases, but as of now, the game is still on. Let’s hope it stays that way.

The game will be aired on the FOX family of networks and will be announced by FOX’s top duo of Joel Klatt and Gus Johnson. However, if you can’t watch on TV, check out all the other avenues to watch or listen to the game.
