It’s clear that pollsters are waiting to see Ohio State put out some real, live game film. Ever since the Buckeyes re-entered the major polls after the Big Ten reinstated the season back in September, teams have jostled about while OSU remains right around No. 5 and No. 6.
And so it is with the latest release of the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports as Ohio State remains at No. 5.
In fact, despite Georgia getting publicly flogged in the second half by Alabama, the Dawgs remain ahead of OSU, at No. 4 — only dropping one spot in the poll. The top ten now consist of Clemson (1), Alabama (2), Notre Dame (3), Georgia (4), Ohio State (5), Oklahoma State (6), Penn State (7), Florida (8), Texas A&M (9), and Cincinnati (10).

The good news? It’s game week for Ohio State folks. That means the next time these zany polls come out, there will be something to look at for Big Ten teams. We expect a pretty good showing by the Bucks, so stay tuned.
