It’s that time of the week for the release of the latest Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports, and still-idle Ohio State has moved up a spot to No. 5.
The modest jump is largely because of Florida’s loss to Texas A&M this past weekend. The Buckeyes had been No. 6 over the last couple of weeks since re-entering the poll after dropping out when the Big Ten decided to shelve the season because of concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.
The top ten teams this week consist of Clemson (1), Alabama (2), Georgia (3), Notre Dame (4), Ohio State (5), North Carolina (6), Oklahoma State (7), Penn State (8), Florida (9), and Cincinnati (1).
After taking down Florida, @AggieFootball surges nine spots in the latest @AmwayUS Coaches Poll, sitting just outside the top 10.
