Now that Ohio State and the rest of its Big Ten colleagues are going to have a fall football season, the Buckeyes are starting to appear on a lot of the media’s projections for some pretty big things. That includes many predictions on what teams will make the College Football Playoff and other bowl games.
USA TODAY’s Paul Myerberg publishes a piece every week where he peers into the crystal ball to take a look at the 2020 postseason and his latest effort is out. Nobody knows what the postseason will look like exactly, but it does appear as though at least the major bowl games will be played. But where does he Myerberg have Ohio State going?
You’re going to like it. He has Ohio State headed out west to Pasadena to play in the Rose Bowl against the Florida Gators in the first round of the College Football Playoff. Though he doesn’t give a seeding, that would presume the Buckeyes ar either the No. 1 or No. 2 seed or the game would likely be in the Sugar Bowl.
But he doesn’t have the road ending there. Myerberg then has OSU making it beyond the Gators and playing in the national championship against Alabama after the Tide get past Clemson in the Sugar. That game is set to be played in Miami.
Florida has the early look of a Playoff contender, especially in the wake of the Big 12's struggles. https://t.co/7SdeK5W2iS

Ohio State vs. Alabama for all the marbles is something I can get behind, and I’m sure you can too. Now, all we have to do is wait and see what transpires on the field.
It all goes down beginning on October 24 against Nebraska in the ‘Shoe.
