Week 4 Amway Coaches Poll: Texas stays put, Oklahoma out of top 15

After the win, Texas will remain ranked No. 9 in the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports. Both Ohio State and Miami jumped UT.

Texas had the most exciting game of the weekend, beating Texas Tech in overtime, 63-56. Sam Ehlinger’s touchdown to Joshua Moore in the extra period won the game for the Longhorns.

After the win, Texas will remain ranked No. 9 in the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports. Both Ohio State and Miami jumped the Longhorns in the poll. The Hurricanes dominated Florida State on Saturday while the Buckeyes have not yet played a game yet this season.

As for the rest of the Big 12, only two teams are in the poll. Oklahoma dropped down to No. 16 after losing to Kansas State in Norman. Oklahoma State also fell one spot to No. 19 despite beating West Virginia.

Pac-12 teams remain out of the poll even though the conference announced its return to play.
