Lost in the return of Miles Sanders (hamstring), Derek Barnett (hamstring), and Lane Johnson (ankle) to the Eagles lineup is the debut of star defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, who’ll make his debut with the team against the LA Rams on Sunday after battling a pec injury.
Aaron Donald and the Rams frontline will get all the hype on Sunday, but the Eagles trio of Hargrave, Fletcher Cox, and Malik Jackson should do the most game-wrecking when the action is all said and done.
Hargrave came over from the Steelers 3-4 defense and signed a three-year, $39 million deal with the Eagles to pair with Cox and Jackson to form a dominant trio. With Hargrave back in action, the Eagles could counter the Rams, by presenting a pass-rushing foursome of Brandon Graham, Hargrave, Fletcher Cox, and Malik Jackson or Josh Sweat.
