Texas is setting their sights high after the commitment of 2022 five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers.
It’s the domino effect. When you land a rare, program-changing player it typically sways other highly rated athletes to the same school. Many of the nation’s most sought-after recruits have vocally stated their desire to play for a quarterback like Ewers.
Why not target one of the top prospects in Ewers’ class? On Monday, the Longhorns extended an offer to five-star wide receiver Kevin Lamar Coleman Jr. out of the 2022 recruiting class. He’s the No. 2 overall player in the state of Missouri and a top 20 player in the country according to 247Sports Composite.
The 5-11, 170-pound playmaker has received numerous offers from prominent programs such as Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame, Oregon and Penn State.
At St. Mary’s High School in 2019, Coleman recorded 76 catches for 1512 yards and 21 touchdowns.
