In the wild week of college athletics we found out who would be playing college football and who wouldn’t. Following the announcement of the Big Ten Conference, it began a a domino effect of both FBS and FCS conferences that would cancel their fall seasons. The hope that efforts could be made to ensure a spring season.
In the state of Texas, it appears as though plenty of football will be played. Not just at the collegiate level but high schools are in the midst of their fall camps as they prepare for the high school football season. The Big 12 covers Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa and West Virginia. In each of those states with the exception of Iowa, all major FBS schools will be participating in the upcoming season. At least that is the plan for now.

It should come as no surprise to see the states to the south and southeast are all going to be playing football. Utah is showing some FBS schools playing but it is just Brigham Young University which is an Independent and operates on its own. There are some schools in the northeast that will be playing in some capacity.
