The Brooklyn Nets roster has gone through more changes than any other NBA team taking part in the league’s restart in Disney World.
Kevin Durant (right Achilles) was the first to rule himself out for the resumption of the 2019-20 season, while Kyrie Irving (right shoulder) is continuing to rehab from surgery which ended his first season in Brooklyn early.
Then Nic Claxton (left shoulder) underwent surgery, and Wilson Chandler elected to opt-out. DeAndre Jordan also opted-out after testing positive for COVID-19. It took Spencer Dinwiddie two positive COVID-19 tests for him to opt-out.
And just when it seemed like Taurean Prince (tested positive for COVID-19) would be the last Net sidelined for the restart, Michael Beasley left the bubble after testing positive for COVID-19.
After all the mishaps, the Nets roster is finally set for the Disney bubble, along with all the other 21 NBA teams taking part in the restart.
Brooklyn’s bubble roster goes as follows (alphabetically):
- Jarrett Allen
- Justin Anderson
- Chris Chiozza
- Jamal Crawford
- Donta Hall
- Joe Harris
- Tyler Johnson
- Rodions Kurucs
- Caris LeVert
- Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot
- Jeremiah Martin
- Dzanan Musa
- Garrett Temple
- Lance Thomas
