“I chose the University of Alabama because I knew that I was going to be able to compete with the best players, and I knew I was going to be able to win national championships, and I knew that they were going to help me not only get an education but help me get ready for the next level.
Coach Saban, definitely, he had everything. One thing about him is he’s a straightforward person. He keeps it real, whether it’s what you want to hear or if it’s not what you want to hear. I knew he was going to be able to push me and make me be the best Shaun Dion Hamilton.”
At Alabama, Hamilton recorded 134 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 4 defended passes, and 2 forced fumbles.
He would go on to be drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
As he enters his third season in the NFL, he has played in 32 games and has recorded 70 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and 1 interception.
