You can find a lot of NFL mock draft sites out there, and they all differ greatly on their opinions. It all depends on where some of the NFL teams finish, what the needs are, and what kind of season each college prospect has.
We’ve run through some of the early, most-reputable NFL 2021 mock drafts before, and there’s another one that we like to keep an eye on. It’s from our sister USA TODAY site Draft Wire. In fact, it’s the site’s main job if you can’t tell from the name of the domain, and Luke Easterling does his homework and works very hard at it.
So where does Easterling have some of the Ohio State players going in next year’s first-round? He is a bit of an outlier and only has two Buckeyes going on the first day, but it’s the same two players you’ll likely see across other experts’ sites as well.
Just like many others, he has both quarterback Justin Fields and corner Shaun Wade going very, very early in his way-too-early 2021 NFL mock draft, but where, and to whom?
According to Easterling, he has Justin Fields being taken No. 2 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and cornerback Shaun Wade going No. 11 overall to the Denver Broncos.
Last week, we took a look a some super-early mocks from our TL.
This week, our comrades @TheDraftWire have their own new projections
FWIW we're really curious to see if Minshew can be the guy, too. If not, Fields is a baller, so is Adebo. #Jaguars https://t.co/a9NXuWy3uv

And that’s it. No Wyatt Davis, and no Chris Olave who we believe both have a shot at sneaking into that first round — especially Davis who will be one of the best offensive lineman available.
Either way, we continue to peek at what these projections are, and more than likely, if we were to extend out past the first round, you’d see a slew of Buckeyes heading to the NFL. In fact, we’ve looked ahead and which OSU players look to be in solid shape for next April’s NFL draft.
