D.J. Fluker was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Monday after two years with the team, but the former Alabama right tackle wasn’t on the free agent market long.
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, Fluker has agreed to terms with the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday morning:
The #Ravens beefed up their O-line with some veteran experience, agreeing to terms with former #Seahawks OL DJ Fluker, source said. The deal is pending the physical for the one-time first-round pick.

The news was later confirmed by Matt Zenitz with AL.com. Zenitz also made it known that the New Orleans Saints were being considered by Fluker as well:

This is an important signing for the Ravens, as they’re looking to replace All-Pro right guard Marshal Yanda, who chose to retire following the 2019 season.
Fluker was originally drafted by the San Diego Chargers at No. 11 overall in the 2012 NFL Draft, but after four up-and-down seasons, the 6-foot-5, 342-pound offensive lineman was released.
He then spent a year with the New York Giants in 2017, playing in nine games with six starts, before ending up in Seattle the last two seasons. During that time, he played in 24 games with 23 starts at right guard.
After the Seahawks drafted Damien Lewis out of LSU in the third round of last week’s draft, Fluker became expendable, but his landing spot in Baltimore couldn’t have been any better.
Fluker, a former five-star recruit out of Foley (Ala.), is expected to compete with 2019 fourth-round pick Ben Powers for the starting spot at right guard vacated by Yanda.
He’s also the sixth former Crimson Tide player to end up on the roster for the Ravens, joining Marlon Humphrey, Mark Ingram II, Bradley Bozeman, Andre Smith and Anthony Averett.
