The exact terms of their contracts will be released soon, but until then, we can at least have an idea how much their contracts are worth. The University of Alabama had 10 players drafted in the 2020 draft, and had two more players sign as free agents. We will break down all 12 Crimson Tide player’s contract in order of draft pick.
Tua Tagovailoa’s projected contract with the Miami Dolphins is nothing short of impressive. His contract’s projected total value is around $30,275,406. His signing bonus $19,578,477. And finally, his 2020 cap is $5,504,619.
Jedrick Wills’ contract with the Cleveland Browns is reported to have a total value of $19,702,891. Wills’ signing bonus is $11,889,376. And lastly, his 2020 cap is $3,582,344.
Henry Ruggs III was the first wide receiver drafted in the 2020 Draft and looks to be the highest paid receiver of the draft. His contract’s total value is reported to be around $16,671,609. His signing bonus is $9,684,807, and his 2020 cap is $3,031,202.
Jerry Jeudy was the 2nd receiver drafted, right behind Alabama teammate Henry Ruggs III. Jeudy’s contract is a little less than Ruggs’, but it’s still alot of money. His contract’s reported value is $15,192,959. His signing bonus is $8,609,425, and his 2020 cap is $2,762,356.
Xavier McKinney was the first Alabama player drafted in the second round by the New York Giants. His contracted is reported to be around $8,391,043. His signing bonus is $3,662,577, and his 2020 cap is $1,525,644.
Trevon Diggs’ contract with the Dallas Cowboys has a reported value of $6,320,904. His signing bonus is worth $2,157,021, and his cap for 2020 is $1,149,255.
Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts made his dream come true on Friday night as the Philadelphia Eagles drafted him in the second round. His contract’s estimated value is reported to be $6,025,168. His signing bonus is $1,941,941, and his 2020 cap is $1,095,485.
