The Rams traded away Brandin Cooks this offseason, sending him to the Texans for a second-round pick. With that second-rounder, they selected a wide receiver to help replace him, landing Van Jefferson out of Florida with the 57th overall pick on Friday night.
Jefferson wasn’t the human highlight reel that Jerry Jeudy and CeeDee Lamb were in college, but he made big plays at both Florida and Ole Miss, where he began his career before transferring to the Gators.
Check out this highlight package of his best plays in college.
In four collegiate seasons between Ole Miss and Florida, Jefferson caught 175 passes for 2,159 yards and 16 touchdowns. His best season was in 2019 when he had 657 yards and six touchdowns.
