Pete Prisco from CBS Sports , has seven Alabama players going in the first round in his most recent mock draft for the 2020 NFL Draft.
As Prisco notes,”We are two weeks away from the NFL Draft. Can you believe it? It will be a different one for sure, especially since it’s virtual for the teams, but it’s still the same process: Draft the best player and hope for success.
In my Mock 5.0, I changed a few things around, but not a lot. I have some new faces in the bottom of the round, but the same names make up the top 20 or so picks. ”
Clearly, a lot that can change. Actually, a lot has changed. Several Alabama players are no longer named in the first round of a CBS NFL Mock Draft. Since the NCAA canceled the rest of the spring season, the SEC championships and all pro days, the mock drafts have shifted a little, and will continue to do so until the Draft happens.
So, with all that said, let’s take a look and see who he believes will be going from the Crimson Tide to the NFL in the first round.
6. Chargers — Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
“The Dolphins pass on Tua, but the Chargers don’t. They take the risk on Tagovailoa being healthy.”
