WATCH: Mark Ingram predicts Tua will be star NFL signal-caller

On Thursday, former Alabama and current Baltimore Ravens’ running back, Mark Ingram predicted Tua Tagovailoa to be a hit in the NFL.

On Thursday, former Alabama and current Baltimore Ravens’ running back, Mark Ingram predicted Tua Tagovailoa to be a hit in the NFL on ESPN’s “First Take.”

“Obviously injuries and availability is a huge part of being a pro and being in the NFL. I can understand durability concerns, but I think every player has durability concerns, man. I just think the type of person he is, his accuracy, his accolades—the number of yards he threw for, the efficiency, even some mobility in the pocket, out of the pocket, I just think he has great potential, you know what I mean, to be a star in this league. And I think he will be a star in this league.”

But that’s not all, Ingram also had this to say:

“I’m a Tua fan. I hope the best of Tua.”

Simply put, Mark Ingram believes Tua Tagovailoa will be a star in the NFL, and so do many others, including mock drafts who have him being drafted in the top 5 of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Tagovailoa, who has been recovering from hip surgery after enduring a season enduring injury last season, is trying his best to prove to teams he is 100% healthy and ready to play this season.

Tagovailoa, who didn’t participate in the NFL combine, was hoping to prove himself at Alabama’s pro day, but since the SEC canceled all pro-days due to the new coronavirus, Tagovailoa is having to rely on social media, video calls and film to show off his talents and recovered hip.

For the season, Tagovailoa threw for 2,840 yards, 33 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. In his career at Alabama, Tagovailoa racked up 7,442 yards passing, 87 TDs, and 11 INTs.

The 2020 NFL Draft will be held from April 23-25.
