Former Ohio State and LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is the latest high profile athlete to give his words of wisdom, advice, and encouragement during the measures put in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Like others tied to Buckeye nation that have tried to get the word out, Burrow reminds everyone to wash their hands, participate in social distancing — and in this case — give money to food pantries if you can.
The only difference here from the other public service announcements Ohio Governor Mike Dewine seems to have proliferated the internet with is the fact that there’s a Heisman Trophy peering over the shoulder this time. Because hey, if you don’t listen to a player, what about a prized bronze statue to back it up.
Click on the below and watch Burrow’s complete message about COVID-19 and what you can do to play your part.

If only he would have ended the message with Go Bucks! instead of Geux Tigers! Stay safe everyone. Be there for each other and take this thing seriously.
