Report: three within Sixers organization test positive for coronavirus

Three members of the Philadelphia 76ers organization have tested positive for coronavirus.

The virus that has the world in a current state of quarantine has officially reached the Philadelphia 76ers. After they faced off with the Detroit Pistons on March 11 before the positive test of Pistons big man Christian Wood on March 14, the Sixers then were all tested for it on Monday.

The results have come in.

The Sixers released a statement saying that the three individuals who tested positive for the virus are in self-isolation and that they will be monitored closely by medical professionals. All other tests that came in are currently negative on the team. The three just continue to add to the total who have tested positive at the NBA level as the number now rises to 11.

The NBA is in limbo at this moment in time as we all face this unprecedented era of our lifetimes and it is at a point where safety must be at the utmost importance. Hopefully, the three Sixers can get healthy right away. [lawrence-related id=27808,27801,27790]
