Two of the toughest defenses in the NFL will clash on Sunday Night Football when the Buffalo Bills look to earn their 10th win of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With both teams currently holding wild-card positions in the AFC playoff race, this game could have a dramatic impact on who makes the postseason and where they will be seeded in the AFC.

The Buffalo Bills (9-4) suffered a 24-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens their last time out. The Bills did a good job of keeping MVP frontrunner Lamar Jackson in check during the game, holding him to 145 yards passing and under 50 yards rushing. But the Bills offense was not able to overcome the Ravens, as Buffalo only managed 209 yards of offense. The Bills sit one game back of the New England Patriots in the race for the AFC East and in the first wild-card slot heading into the game.
Pittsburgh (8-5) won its third straight game and its seventh out of eight when it got a 23-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals last week. Devlin Hodges was by no means spectacular at quarterback for the Steelers, but he was an efficient 16-for-19 for 152 yards and a touchdown pass. It kept the Steelers moving well enough to secure the victory. Currently sitting in the second wild-card position in the AFC, a win for the Steelers could impact where they go in the first round of the playoffs.
