The Seahawks return from their bye week to face the Eagles in Philadelphia Sunday morning. The game was originally set for primetime before being flexed back to the early time slot. Seattle is 3-0 on the year in their first three 10:00 a.m. PT starts.
“We’ve got to get back to work and recapture the tempo and the mode that we need to be in,” coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday. “There’s a challenge to that. We’ve got to make sure we handle it really well. We’re going against a team that we have a lot of respect for. This is a team that knows how to win. They’ve had great history. They’ve got experienced players across the board. Really well-balanced football team. Just an eyelash from being on top of this whole thing. Very serious challenger. We’ve got to be ready, so we’ve got a lot of work to do.”
Seattle will practice at home Thursday and Friday before heading out on their longest road trip of the season so far.
With a win on Sunday, @Seahawks QB @DangeRussWilson would become the first quarterback in NFL history with a winning record in each of his first eight seasons. #GoHawks pic.twitter.com/u9ug3sIpFH
