Bills relying on culture

Earlier this past month, the Bills unfortunately had a very negative headline come across their screens because of their rookie quarterback, Jake Fromm.

Screen grabs of old text messages surfaced. A woman posted them, and in the messages, Fromm makes a racially insensitive remark and has since fessed up to it. After everything was done, the Bills stuck by their man and decided they would “work with” Fromm.

The Bills have previously had to get through a similar situation with quarterback Josh Allen. Several years before being drafted, Allen had some tweets surface on draft day which were racially charged, but were said to be song lyrics and TV shows lines.

Hopefully Fromm learns and changes, most importantly. Next we’ll worry about football and hopefully this does not harm Buffalo’s locker room. But by sticking by Fromm, the Bills front office bet once again in June that their team culture reigns supreme.
