Jerry Jones upset
The Bills have an opposing owner that’s welcoming them on Thursday who’s not feeling in the holiday spirit lately. Dallas has had Jason Garrett as their head coach since 2011 and plenty of seasons since then it’s seemed like the heat has been on but Garrett remains in his job. But is he actually in trouble now?
Following the Cowboys’ 13-9 loss to the Patriots, owner Jerry Jones had some harsh words for his own team.
“This is very frustrating, and it’s frustrating just to be reminded that some of the fundamentals of football and coaching were what beat us out there today,” Jones said.
Since then, Garrett has responded somehow and sounded like he’s unfazed, probably since Jones has done this in the past.
“Certainly Jerry said it, I’ve said it: We want to take the next step this year,” Garrett said on Monday.
But it’s still worth noting since it’s really an outward criticism prior to the Bills visiting the Cowboys. To some extent, it appears the hotseat is on Garrett. Can he respond? Will his gameplan be harmed by Jones’ pressure? Tune in to find out.
