QB Gardner Minshew

The Jaguars popular rookie because of his facial hair is back. Nick Foles struggled the past three games and it appears his time is over. The Jaguars will look to see what Gardner Minshew has in him over the next few weeks, which could leave him with plenty of pass attempts. Before the Jags went back to Foles, Minshew had 14 touchdowns, five interceptions and 2,432 passing yards. Downfall: He is facing the No. 4 pass defense this week in the Chargers (199.3 yard average).

RB Patrick Laird

The Dolphins have running back Patrick Laird who’s a steady pickup if you’re in need. But there’s a risk here, he’s facing the Jets this week. They’re the No. 1 run defense in the NFL, currently only allowing 75.2 yards per game. However, the Jets have allowed 11 rushing touchdowns on the year and Laird has featured well as a pass catcher for PPR leagues.

RB Peyton Barber

The Peyton Barbar-Ronald Jones roundtable in Tampa took a weird turn for the Bucs. Jones was benched last week for bad blocking and Barber stepped in with 17 carries for 44 yards and two touchdowns. Could Barber continue to see more touches? The Colts’ No. 9 run defense will be waiting for Barber and the Bucs this week, though.
