Defense actually not bad

We’ve talked a lot about that poor Jets offense because that unit was supposed to lead the Jets to the promise land in 2019. Instead, its been the defense.

The Jets’ safety tandem of Marcus Maye and Jamal Adams is an impressive one. They’re certainly up there with the Bills’ duo of Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer. But its a full effort here, as the Jets have kept opponents to only 87.9 yards per game on the ground, that’s the second-best run defense in the NFL. Against the pass, the Jets are an average team, ranking 15th (236.2 average).

So with that in mind, is this a chance for Josh All…… Matt Barkley to put his stamp on a game with a passing attack against the Jets? It’ll still be a hard go, but the Bills have nothing to lose, anyway.
