6 Cowboys lead NFC’s Pro Bowl vote at their positions; 11 more within reach

From @ToddBrock24f7: Two current leaders are Cowboys who have never been to the Pro Bowl; several others are close to the conference lead at their position.

The NFL has announced its first round of leading vote-getters for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, and several Cowboys stars are among the leaders.

Six Cowboys currently lead the NFC at their respective positions:

  • QB Dak Prescott
  • WR CeeDee Lamb
  • OG Zack Martin
  • OLB Micah Parsons
  • CB DaRon Bland
  • K Brandon Aubrey

This would mark the first Pro Bowl nods for Bland and Aubrey.

Eleven other Cowboys players find themselves in the Top 10 (leaguewide) at their slots:

  • RB Tony Pollard, 10th
  • TE Jake Ferguson, 7th
  • OG Tyler Smith, 4th
  • OT Tyron Smith, 3rd
  • OT Terence Steele, 9th
  • C Tyler Biadasz, 6th
  • KR/PR KaVontae Turpin, 4th
  • P Bryan Anger, 8th
  • LS Trent Sieg, 2nd
  • CB Stephon Gilmore, 8th
  • ST Sam Williams, 2nd

Notable omissions here include defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence and defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa, who currently fall outside the top 10 at their positions across both conferences.

As was the case last year, the Pro Bowl Games format will recognize the league’s top players in multiple days of unique skills competitions and then culminate in a flag football game (with the AFC and NFC squads coached by Peyton and Eli Manning) at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Sunday, Feb. 4.

Fans can vote for their favorite players by visiting any official team website or at this link at NFL.com.
