In their first season together, Micah Hyde took the Pro Bowl honors next to Jordan Poyer in 2017. Since them, neither have. In 2018, Buffalo’s whole secondary was overlooked in that discussion despite their continued excellence. Most signs point to Buffalo’s 6-10 record that season as the reason why. After another playoff berth a year ago, Tre’Davious White garnered both Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors.

Could it be Poyer’s turn in 2020?

While this is more something that could help the secondary as a whole, but the Bills are deeper than ever at cornerback. That No. 2 spot should no longer be any sort of weak link in the group, as Josh Norman, EJ Gaines and Levi Wallace will battle it out for playing time. That should have an affect on the secondary as an entire unit, which could lead to Poyer nabbing his first ever Pro Bowl.
