QB Josh Allen
Speaking of things coming together, if they do for Stefon Diggs, that means they certainly did for the guy throwing the ball to him, quarterback Josh Allen. The expectations are high as ever for Allen heading into Year 3, and for good reason.
Allen’s becoming more and more accepted as a strong dual-threat playmaker across the NFL, and he took positive steps forward with his accuracy a year ago with his already proven legs. He improved his completion percent from 52.8 to 58.8 percent in 2019. If that oft-criticized deep ball improves, that’ll get Allen over the 60 percent hurdle. What also will help is Allen’s issues with fumbling. He cut down on the interceptions in his sophomore season (which could use further improvement), but it was still a really bad issue in terms of fumbles. He dropped the ball 14 times last season.
