DE Mario Addison
Rating: 76 overall
This one is very interesting, and we don’t have to look very far as to why. The Bills wanted more from their defensive ends in reality. So Shaq Lawson departed and Mario Addison was added via free agency and AJ Epenesa was selected by the in the second round of the recent draft. There’s also Quinton Jefferson to potentially consider. Because of the way the cards have fallen, some believe that Trent Murphy could be on the outside-looking-in when 2020’s training camp is all said and done. Could Murphy be cut? It’s looking like maybe.
Despite that, Addison, who’s had at least nine sacks in each of the past four-straight seasons with the Panthers, is rated a 76 overall. Meanwhile Murphy, who has nine sacks, in total, during his two seasons with the Bills, is a 78. Murphy’s rating even improved from a 77 overall in Madden 20.
And yes, maybe Addison played more snaps over the last two years to help him get there because of the rotation the Bills play along their defensive line. But… really, guys?
