Michigan State basketball will be hosting one of the top players in the 2025 class this upcoming weekend.
Five-star small forward Trey McKenney of Flint, Mich. will reportedly visit Michigan State this weekend. Travis Branham of 247Sports reported the notable recruiting news on McKenney.
McKenney ranks as the No. 1 small forward and No. 12 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He is also ranked as the No. 1 player from Michigan.
McKenney already holds offers from 35 programs, according to 247Sports. That includes Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Illinois, UCLA, Kansas and Alabama.
