Georgia football got its biggest win of the day when 5-star offensive tackle Broderick Jones announced that he would be signing with Georgia.
Jones had been committed to UGA for quite some time, but Auburn came on strong toward the end, causing Georgia fans to worry about losing one of our top ranked commitments for the 2020 class.
But instead Jones decided to be a part of something special, joining the nation’s No. 1 overall ranked recruiting class.
Jones stands 6-5 and weighs 300 pounds. He played his high school football at Lithonia.
Jones ranks as the nation’s No. 11 overall player in the class, No. 2 offensive tackle and No. 3 player in the state of Georgia.
