A five-star recruit released his top 11 schools, and LSU made the cut.
Terry Bussey is the top athlete in the class in some rankings and joining LSU in his final 11 are division rivals Alabama, Texas A&M and Auburn. Bussey is a five-star on 247Sports, but On3, ESPN, and Rivals have him with four stars.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Texas A&M is in the driver’s seat with Texas also contending. Bussey is a multi-sport athlete who also plays basketball and baseball as well as competing in track and field.
I wouldn’t bet on Bussey ending up at LSU right now. There are several major programs in pursuit and it’s unclear if LSU will get an official visit.

It’s still early and things can always change. LSU could always use an athlete with Bussey’s speed. Last cycle, LSU added a speedster in [autotag]Jalen Brown[/autotag], but Kelly has made it clear he wants to add more.
