Pass rush non-existent

It was a combination of things, but the Bills pass rush, after games of awesome success, was invisible against the Patriots offense, lending to their victory at home.

In a pivotal game against the Steelers and quarterback Duck Hodges, the Bills brought him down four times last week. Against Tom Brady, the Bills brought him down zero times and weren’t really close at all throughout the game. That helped the Patriots’ QB pick apart the Buffalo defense, as the Bills only had four quarterback hits in the game overall.

Along with quick passing plays and reads for Brady in the game, the Bills’ secondary left players open which helped Brady get rid of it even quicker. The game never really got out of hand, but the Bills never really settled in on defense after that excellent opening drive.
