Last week, the Chicago Bears decided to part ways with former Alabama safety Eddie Jackson. Jackson spent his entire NFL career in Chicago and will now join a new team for the first time in his NFL career.
A reunion does not seem likely at this point in time. By making the move, the Bears were able to clear up a lot of cap space. Meaning Jackson’s time in the Windy City has likely come to an end. He could return to the team down the line, but he will suit up elsewhere next season.
