4-star WR names top-four, sets commitment date

Georgia in the top-four for 4-star WR

On Wednesday, 2023 4-star wide receiver Anthony Evans announced his final schools and set a commitment date.

Evans posted on social media that his top-four schools include the Georgia Bulldogs, Oklahoma Sooners, Penn State Nittany Lions and Texas A&M Aggies.

He also set a commitment date of August 26.

Evans is a former Arkansas commit who reopened his commitment back in April. He visited Georgia in June.

From Converse, Texas, he ranks as the nation’s No. 336 overall player and No. 43 ranked wide receiver in the class of 2023, per 247Sports.

The 5-foot-10, 155 pound receiver also competes in track and field for Judson High School, where in the spring he ran a personal-best 10.27-second 100-meter dash.

Last season, Evans recorded 35 catches for 491 yards and 3 touchdowns.
