One of the biggest recruiting targets on the Oregon Ducks board this summer is set to come off soon, and it could be a great day for Dan Lanning and his staff.
4-star running back Jordon Davison recently announced that he will be making his commitment on Friday, June 28th, deciding between a top four of Oregon, Michigan, Ohio State, and Alabama.
The West Coast Mater Dei product is among the top available running backs in the 2025 class, rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 96 overall player and No. 6 RB in the class. Standing at 6-foot, 215 pounds, he is a bruiser of a runner and someone who the Ducks have been targeting for a long time.

For a long while, it appeared that the Buckeyes were the favorite to land Davison after former Oregon RB coach Carlos Locklyn took a job in Columbus, but the recent momentum has shifted in the Ducks’ favor. Over the past week, a pair of big-time recruiting predictions have come in for Davison to commit to the Ducks ultimately.
Will that hold and end up being the case? We will find out on Friday.
