Four-star Georgia Bulldogs recruiting target Jamon Dumas-Johnson has made his commitment. Dumas-Johnson is a talented linebacker from Baltimore, Maryland. He’s now committed to the University of Georgia.
Dumas-Johnson made his decision on July 8th at two o’clock. He plays high school football for St. Frances Academy.
The four-star linebacker was predicted to join UGA. He’s an excellent addition for Kirby Smart and Georgia football’s class of 2021.
Dumas-Johnson flashes impressive speed on film. He’s got a smaller build, but uses sideline to sideline speed in order track down ball carriers. He primarily plays middle linebacker. He shows the ability to drop into cover and rush the passer.
Dumas-Johnson has the talent necessary to be a modern linebacker in college football. Speed is more important than ever for linebackers, who are expected to cover a lot of ground in Dan Lanning’s system.

He put Georgia, Florida, Penn State, Maryland, Michigan, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Tennessee, Auburn, and Texas A&M in his top ten schools. But now he’s heading to Athens!
His Twitter profile picture is of him on a recruiting visit to the Florida Gators, but now that’s changed. He switched the photo to a black picture before making his decision. Was he trolling the Gators all along? Georgia fans can only hope so.
