49ers tight end George Kittle cleared for season debut in Week 3 against Denver

Tight End U gets one of its best back on the field.

After missing the first two weeks of the NFL season, George Kittle is ready to make his season debut in Week 3.

Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reported on Friday that Kittle is officially cleared to play against the Broncos on Sunday.

Kittle cooked the Denver defense during his only appearance against the Broncos back in December of 2018. He caught seven passes for 210 yards and recorded a touchdown in the Niners W.

But while Kittle had major success against Denver earlier in his career, he’s never scored a touchdown in any season opener as a pro. Still, fantasy players and bettors will gladly take their chances with Kittle in the lineup—especially considering he’s proven he can work well with Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback.

How will Sunday night play out? It’s anyone’s guess, but I’ve got my eyes all over Kittle’s +185 odds at BetMGM to score a touchdown.
