The 49ers had an unexpected scratch in their inactives before Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Cornerback Jason Verrett will not suit up against Dallas despite not showing up at all on the injury report during the week.

Verrett is dealing with an illness according to the team. The nature of the illness is unknown.

The good news for San Francisco is Verrett will be replaced by Emmanuel Moseley, who’s playing after officially being listed as ‘questionable’ with a hamstring injury that’s forced him out of the last two games.

Slot cornerback K’Waun Williams is also back in action for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 9. He was also questionable.

Linebacker Fred Warner was questionable as well with a stinger he sustained in the second half against Washington. He’ll also be be active against Dallas.
