Reggie Gilliam comes from the MAC’s University of Toledo, but don’t count him out. The small-school prospect will go head-to-head with veteran Patrick DiMarco for a roster spot in Buffalo.

In three seasons, Gilliam only caught 18 passes and three touchdowns for Toldeo, but some consider that ability to be an underrated one in his game. But what’s not underrated are his skills as a strong run blocker and talented player on special teams. Those are all things that DiMarco does for the Bills, and Gilliam would do so at a much smaller price tag. But DiMarco is a guy that Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott has often praised as a team leader, so don’t just write him off because of finances, either.
