Stefon Diggs back in a big way
Stefon Diggs re-appeared at Bills training camp on Tuesday in a huge way. His talents certainly didn’t go anywhere, however, his health briefly did on Monday. Per reports from a day ago, Diggs briefly left Bills practice due to a right leg injury. It was very fast though, and he was quickly back at it that same practice… and then he certainly showed up on Tuesday.
Various reports from camp indicate that during team drills a day after his injury scare, quarterback Josh Allen consistently looked Diggs’ way. It turned out to be a good idea for both guys. CBS New 4 Buffalo specifically reported that Allen found his No. 1 receiver on consistent plays… at least three-straight times, on two occasions, with every single ball being completed. Without a doubt a good sign here that Diggs finds a way to consistently get open, displaying himself as a safe target for the quarterback.
And naturally, the more completions the better. It shows that the QB-WR combo is growing their chemistry.
Remember that clip yesterday of Allen and Diggs getting on the same page and then Diggs praising the throw? Well it happened again today #BillsMafia @WKBW pic.twitter.com/KXEBcvy6A4
