2. Bears OTs Charles Leno Jr. and Cornelius Lucas vs. Packers OLBs Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith
“The Smith Brothers” are truly a dynamic duo for the Packers defense. Both signed as free agents in the spring, the two edge rushers have combined for 93 tackles, 21.5 sacks, and 68 pressures on the quarterback. To put it bluntly, they’re a problem for offensive tackles.
Bears left tackle Charles Leno Jr has put together another decent season, outside of penalties, giving up just four sacks through 13 games. Right tackle Cornelius Lucas, taking over for an injured Bobby Massie, has performed well in the two games he’s started. He handled Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence with ease last week and looks to build on his success. Leno and Lucas’ recent play have helped with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky’s surge in production. Will they be able to hold their own against the Smiths?
