The Philadelphia 76ers are getting ready to seriously contend for a title in the 2022-23 season behind some of the best talent in the league led by Joel Embiid, James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris.
However, those core players will need help from role players. The Sixers went out and signed proven players PJ Tucker and Danuel House Jr. while trading for De’Anthony Melton, but there could still be a young player or two who could break out and help the Sixers succeed.
There are three players on this roster that come to mind that could be those breakout players and give the team a boost. For this exercise, we’re highlighting three players that were already on the roster. So guys like Melton and Trevelin Queen do not qualify.
